[jupiterson]

[ Jason has just ported back into the City. He's confused, until he finds out what date it is, and then he's panicking.

So a very slightly worried message is left. ]

Leo? Leo! Pick up, are you there? Are you okay?

Leo!

[teamme]

[And pick it up he does, as fast as he can as soon as he hears Jason's voice]

Jason! Where the hell were you hiding?! I haven't known anything about you for ages!

voice

[jupiterson]

I wasn't here! I think I was Ported out, but I can't remember anything! I just woke up in that building. How long has it been?

[ He's a little freaked out. This waking-up-without-memories thing needs to stop. ]

voice

[teamme]

Weeks, I think? I'm not sure- I got ported out it was a mess. Can we meet face to face?!

[jupiterson]

Yeah! I'm coming over right now, if you're cool with that. You have to tell me what happened, are you okay?!

I am now. Kinda? Sorta? It's a long story, it's better if I just wait for you.

The door is open by the way.

[jupiterson]

I'll be right there.

[ At which point he clicks off, and just hurries. He doesn't stop home first, so this takes exactly as long as it takes him to get from the Stark building to the MAC, and directly to Leo's room.

He takes a moment to knock, but then pushes the door straight open since Leo had said it wasn't locked. He comes in. ]

Leo, man? Where are you?

[teamme]

I'm... here.

[The voice comes from the darkness, but Leo finally steps out.Jason is his friend, he tells himself. Even if he laughs at him it will be fine, because he will actually be laughing with him.

Still, as much as he wanted to see Jason he still had a... well, a dog's nose. It was normal to freak out a bit, right?]

[ Jason just…stares at him.

He doesn’t laugh, because this is actually way too creepy for that. Instead he tilts his head, and comes forward with his eyes on that nose. ]

Gods of Olympus…what did this to you?

[Now that Jason's seen it Leo covers it with his hand, letting out a frustrated growl because if only he knew.]

I have no idea. I woke up like this... but apparently everyone was waking up weird.

Weird like...with animal faces?

[ He's kind of disturbed, though Jason's seen a lot of weird things in his life. He's slowly starting to get over it. He does keep eyeing Leo's hand though. ]

Dude, have you asked anyone about it? Like, anyone with magical powers or something?

[He shakes his head] You're the first person I've shown this to, I've just. Been keeping myself busy?

I hear other people had suffered these weird things when being ported back so it's not like I'm an only one.

[jupiterson]

That sounds like some kind of Porter malfunction. I don’t know, I think you should see someone about that. [ A little pause, and he says awkwardly: ] What if it’s permanent?
